A Place With No Name

Le Titre A Place With No Name est paru en intégralité.

Le titre est une reprise de A Horse with No Name, une chanson du groupe de rock America, extraite de leur album éponyme et sortie en single le 31 janvier 1972.

Lorsque le titre a leaké en partie en 2009, quelques semaines après le décès de Michael Jackson, Dewey Bunnell et Gerry Beckley, deux des membres du groupe ont transmis leur gratitude envers Michael  pour avoir choisi leur chanson comme un modèle musical pour A Place with No Name. Dans leur déclaration à MTV, les musiciens ont également exprimé le regret que les fans du chanteur n’aient pas eu l’occasion d’entendre la version finale du titre du vivant de Michael.

« Nous sommes honorés que Michael Jackson ait choisi de l’enregistrer et nous sommes impressionnés par la qualité de la piste. Nous espérons aussi qu’il sera bientôt publié afin que les auditeurs de musique du monde entier puissent entendre la chanson en entier et une fois de plus l’expérience de l’éclat incomparable de Michael Jackson […] Nous espérons vraiment que  ses fans et nos fans pourront l’entendre dans son intégralité. C’est vraiment poignant. »
